Women Who Scale Announces Speaker Line-Up for London’s SCALE EXPO & SUMMIT 2026
Time & Leisure joins as media partner for this top event that champions women-led business growth.
A major gathering of founders, investors and industry leaders is set to take place in London this spring, and there’s an exciting speaker line-up.
The SCALE EXPO & SUMMIT 2026 will be held on 22-23 April at the Business Design Centre and aims to shine a spotlight on women building and scaling high-growth businesses. We are delighted to be media partners, and will host a stand at the expo. Our publisher and founder, Lucy Kane, will also be speaking on a panel at 10.30am on day 1.
Organised in partnership with City A.M., Women Who Scale brings together entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors and ecosystem leaders to address one of the most persistent challenges in UK business: the gender investment gap.
In 2024, just 2% of venture capital went to back a female founder. Women start fewer businesses and are less likely to scale successfully.
The initiative focuses on creating practical pathways for female founders to access funding, networks and strategic support as they grow their companies.
The event’s content programme reflects the realities of scaling a business today, with discussions ranging from raising capital and building high-performing teams to personal branding and founder wellbeing.
Among the headline speakers is Sam Smith, Co-Founder of The SuperScalers, who will deliver a keynote session, while a series of founders’ fireside conversations include Jordan Brompton, Co-Founder of MyEnergi, in conversation with Frankie James, Founder of Ideas Community, and Louise Hill, Founder of GoHenry, in conversation with Ayesha Ofori, Founder of Propelle.
The agenda also includes sessions exploring thought leadership, investor readiness and how founders can grow companies sustainably without burnout. Entrepreneur and healthtech founder Elizabeth Sergeant will join a panel exploring the balance between ambition and wellbeing during the scale-up journey.
Teenage sisters Honor Black and Cat Black, founders of sportswear brand Maiden Cricket, are among the speakers sharing their experience of launching and growing a business at a young age.
A key moment during the expo will be a live female founders pitch event on 22 April, where entrepreneurs will present their businesses to investors. The competition will be judged by former Small Business Commissioner Liz Barclay alongside Xavier Ballester, with investors from SCALE Ventures also in attendance.
