The press night of Priscilla Queen of the Desert was certainly a night to remember. What an utterly unforgettable show from the very first moment to the very last!
The atmosphere inside the theatre was absolutely electric from the moment the house lights went down. The audience were completely swept up in the magic of it all, singing along, clapping enthusiastically, and even dancing in their seats throughout the entire performance. And as the final curtain fell, the thunderous standing ovation that erupted said everything that needed to be said.
The energy on stage was simply incredible. Every single performer gave 100% and then some, pouring their heart and soul into every scene, every song, and every moment. The dancers in particular were nothing short of phenomenal: their nonstop enthusiasm and boundless energy shone through brilliantly from beginning to end, lighting up the stage and lifting the entire audience along with them.

And the costumes? Where do you even begin? Quite simply spectacular. An extraordinary explosion of glitter, glamour, and breathtaking creativity that perfectly captured the vibrant, joyful spirit of the show in every sequin and feather. Each outfit was more jaw-dropping than the last, a genuine feast for the eyes that drew gasps and cheers from the crowd throughout the evening.
Priscilla Queen of the Desert is, at its heart, a gloriously uplifting, feel-good musical that reminds you exactly why live theatre is so special. It grabs hold of you, fills you with joy, and refuses to let go. We were still humming the songs and grinning from ear to ear long after the show had ended.
