Lower Marsh Lates
For free open-air cinema, Lower Marsh Lates is a fantastic place to go. On the last Thursday of every month, you can enjoy your favourite feel-good films. A live compere kicks off the event at 5:30pm followed by the screenings- Cool Runnings, Romeo + Juliet, and Mrs Doubtfire. Prizes for the best-dressed attendees and delicious street food and drinks mean this series is not one to miss.

The Barbican
The dazzling city lights form the perfect backdrop for the Barbican outdoor cinema in their iconic brutal Sculpture Court. A wide selection of movies include The Florida Project, American Utopia, and Desperately Seeking Susan. Padded seats and a pair of headphones make this a relaxing and comfortable experience. Expect delicious food such as hot dogs, Japanese desserts, and Syrian and Middle Eastern comfort food.

Everyman King’s Cross
Everyman boasts an idyllic waterfront location with screenings from 12 right through to 7:30pm. They’re showing over 100 films ranging from Dune to Grease, The Devil Wears Prada, and Paddington in Peru. These are free to attend but there is limited capacity so be sure to head there early to secure your spot. The screens are enhanced by Yinka Ilori’s striking and vivid artwork which draws on his dual heritage to bring communities together.

Gunnersbury Park
Take a trip to Gunnersbury Park for Picturehouse’s outdoor cinema screenings. They have a great line-up including Grease, Jurassic Park and 10 Things I Hate About You. By purchasing a ticket directly from Picturehouse you will receive a £6 credit towards food and drink purchases on the night.

Canary Wharf Film Club
Situated in Canary Wharf Film Club, which runs from June to September. Perfect for picnics, Waitrose is nearby or you could bring your own. If not, perhaps head to one of the nearby bars for some lovely refreshments. Experience their superb line-up with movies such as Monsters Inc, Black Panther, Barbie, Superman, and Mamma Mia. With lots of time slots and movies, these free to attend films would make a fantastic evening out.

Rooftop Film Club, Peckham and Stratford
Upgrade dinner and movie with Rooftop Film Club brilliant menu, full bar and classic movie snacks.
