Khaki green seems to be shaping up to be the colour of the season. A nice, earthy, autumnal colour, adding a little more character into an outfit than the classic seasonal staples of black and brown. We’ve been loving the look of a khaki coat, one of the biggest reasons being versatility: it works for a stylish weekend walk, or dressed up as a professional office coat.

A big pattern you’ll notice dotting the streets this season is the checkered coat. This trend is perfect if you want a bit more statement in your statement coat, with a funky design that stands out. Pairs well with a pair of blue jeans for a more relaxed vibe, and we love completing the outfit with a pair of ankle boots.

Fur-tastic
A winter staple, you can never go wrong with a fur coat. Timeless, elegant and endlessly stylish, it’s the perfect choice if you want to keep warm with an element of sophistication. Faux-fur dominated the catwalks this year, and it’s no wonder why: it’s ideal for winter, when you’ve got a show-stopping dress to wear to a party, but need a way to cover up on the way, whether you go for a stole, cropped jacket or floor-length style. Wear over a slip dress for vintage film star glamour. And if you don’t want full fur, fur trim is very popular this year.

Don’t want to hide your whole outfit? Opt for a warm, thick jacket-coat that keeps your upper body snug and warm without having to cover up every part of the look you spent so long putting together.
