Empowering Your Financial Future
Lisa Lloyd-Franks is a Financial Planner specialising in helping women through divorce settlements.
Tell us about your role as a Financial Planner.
As a Financial Planner with over 30 years’ experience, I help clients make informed decisions about investments, pensions and cash flow forecasting, enabling them to achieve their long term financial goals. I specialise in supporting women through significant life transitions, including divorce, bereavement and retirement, with tailored personal financial planning.
Why do women dealing with divorce settlements need a Financial Planner?
Divorce is one of life’s biggest financial turning points. As a Financial Planner, I help women navigate this uncertain time by understanding the long-term implications of decisions around pensions, investments and property. This ensures a settlement supports both immediate needs and future financial security. Early advice provides clarity and confidence.

The Missing Piece of the Renovation Puzzle
Ellora Coupe founded Her Own Space CIC to help women homeowners discover how retrofit can create healthier, more comfortable homes.
What was the inspiration behind founding the business?
Too often women spend years planning renovations without realising retrofit could make them healthier, more comfortable and cheaper to run. We help women ask the right questions before expensive decisions are made and look beyond confusing or misleading industry claims and poor standards.
Why is it important for women to have a community like this?
The insulation materials you use, and the building approach you take, can mean the difference between a home that overheats in summer and feels draughty in winter, and one that is healthy, comfortable and climate resilient.
I believe a trusted, independent community supporting women to manage renovations to a higher standard is long overdue.

A Village in Your Pocket
Founder Molly Aldridge on creating the ultimate app for modern family life
What led you to founding the business?
Becoming a mum to two boys, Jake and Joshua, changed my perspective. I longed for a community and space that catered for the whole family to work, rest and play on our doorstep in SW London. One trusted place where everything came together. That lived experience led me to launch The JJ Club – a members’ club designed to make family life easier through recommendations, meaningful connections, events and exclusive benefits. Our mobile app is exactly that – a village in your pocket – and next year we’ll open our first 30,000 sq ft clubhouse, the cornerstone of our 25,000-strong community.

Nourish from Within
Laura Capewell, founder of award-winning British wellness brand Arella, shares her story
Tell us a bit about you and the business.
I founded Arella after experiencing first-hand the difference that good nutrition can make to health and wellbeing. My ambition was to create a wellness brand that people could feel confident choosing, with carefully developed formulations that support different stages of life. Today, our award-winning supplements range includes Arella Collagen, Arella Pause and Arella Skin.
What makes Arella unique from other wellness brands?
Consumers are becoming far more discerning about what they put into their bodies. They’re increasingly interested in understanding not just what ingredients they’re taking, but how they work together to support long-term health. Every Arella formulation combines carefully selected plant-based ingredients with credible science to create clean, effective products that fit naturally into everyday life.
