Where to celebrate Burns Night
The time to don our kilts and pour the whisky is fast approaching – the annual celebration of Scotland’s greatest poet Robert Burns is nearly upon us. Here’s where to celebrate Burns Night in true Scottish style in London and Surrey.

The Hand in Hand
Wimbledon
The Hand in Hand is famous in Wimbledon for its Burns Night. They’ll be celebrating a little earlier this year (on the 22nd) so if you’re busy on Burns Night proper then this is one to go for! Scottish joy will be spread with whisky, haggis and poetry. Bagpipes will be played and a specially curated menu will be served throughout the night.
The Dog & Fox
Wimbledon
This Burns Night, Dog & Fox will be serving up the classic haggis, neeps and tatties, with scotch overflowing and Scottish tunes spinning.
The White Hart
Barnes
The White Hart has a full weekend of celebrations planned for this Burns Night, with whisky cocktails on Friday 23rd January, and a big four-course supper on Saturday 24th, including haggis and deep-fried Mars bars, and a live bagpiper. Sunday 25th January will be the roast day, with a choice of haggis and venison to round off the festivities.

Scott’s Richmond
In partnership with The Singleton of Dufftown, Scott’s Richmond will host its third annual Burns Night celebration with a bespoke menu, welcome cocktail, whisky drams, the Address to the Haggis with bagpipes and a few other surprises. The three-course menu features pastrami-cured salmon, fillet of venison with glazed carrot and kale and Singleton treacle tart, with guests welcomed by a Speyside Highball cocktail.

Settle in for a three-course feast pared with curated whisky at The Weyside, where you can dine accompanied by a live performance by their talented bagpiper Lena.

The Cadogan Arms is serving up a four course Burns Night set menu, beginning with whisky-cured Scottish salmon with pickled cucumber, dill and crème fraîche, served with oatcakes, followed by a starter of haggis, neeps and tatties croquette with whisky, mustard cream and crispy leeks. The main course will feature roast rump of Scotch beef with bone marrow gratin, smoked bacon, cabbage and red wine sauce. To finish, guests will enjoy a dark chocolate and peated whisky tart with salted caramel and Atholl Brose ice cream.

RAILS Restaurant

At the popular RAILS Restaurant, you can enjoy a specially curated set menu of Scottish classics alongside limited edition cocktails. Start with the ‘Ae Fond Kiss’ cocktail, blending Scottish whisky, passionfruit and chilli, followed by a warming bowl of Cullen skink – a soup with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions. The main course features haggis served alongside neeps, tatties and whisky sauce, before finishing with a traditional cranachan dessert for a perfect finale.

No. 3 Rooftop at Smiths of Smithfields

Enjoy a whopping six-course feast at No.3 Rooftop for Burns Night supper, complete with bagpipes, poetry readings and a Glenlivet 15 cocktail. With ingredients sourced straight from Scotland, enjoy the likes of grilled Loch Fyne oysters; Highland venison tartare; Ramsay’s haggis, neeps & tatties; and end the night with either a Mars bar beignet or Irn-bru tablet with malt crumble.
Galvin La Chapelle

At Galvin La Chapelle, you’ll be treated to an elevated Burns Night menu with dishes including Isle of Harris gin-cured salmon with Oscietra caviar and oat bread, followed by “Wild Skin” Scottish langoustine. The main course features rump of lamb served with haggis, celeriac and whisky caramel, followed by Bonnington Linn with cranberry, a traditional Tipsy Laird dessert, and coffee with petit fours.
