Theatre
Robin Hood and the Christmas Heist
Rose Theatre, Kingston
A festive show perfect for families!
As winter’s first snow falls, there’s little Christmas cheer in Sherwood. Cupboards are bare, the nights are cold, and the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham squeezes his citizens for every penny they’re worth. But deep in the forest, in the heart of the Major Oak, legendary outlaw Robin Hood plots an audacious scheme to bring some festive joy.
Food
Rosa’s Thai
Kingston
The new branch of Rosa’s Thai has just opened in Kingston, serving up delicious Asian cuisine, from fresh summer rolls and okra tempura to steaming bowls of pork belly and slow cooked beef cheek curry. Coupled with a buzzy ambience, it’s definitely one to add to the roster.

Community
Carol Singing on the Bandstand
Clapham Common, 8 December
The Friends of Royal Trinity Hospice will be hosting their annual carols on the bandstand starting at 3pm on Sunday. There will be musicians and a choir, along with song sheets for the audience to join in and bells for children to ring.

Childline’s Merry Little Christmas Show
Cadogan Hall, 10 December
While not technically at the weekend, we wanted to highlight this fun festive show for a good cause! Award-winning journalist and broadcaster Charlene White and actor Chris Harper will be hosting, joined by guest readers Geri Halliwell-Horner and Shaniqua Okwok. There’ll be a variety of entertainment throughout the night, a raffle and a silent auction.
Family Fun
