Tell us about Arturo.
We are a family-owned beauty salon offering high quality skin, nail and laser treatments as well as male grooming and barbering. With nearly two decades of experience, we take pride in enhancing men’s grooming experiences, while our advanced skin, nail, and laser services are open to everyone.
What feedback have you had from customers?
It has been incredible. They have appreciated our high service standards and professional team, and love the inviting, friendly vibe we’ve created. Clients are often surprised when they find out we are more than just a barber and offer a lot more than a cut and shave! Even more so when they discover the especially designed treatment rooms and zones not visible when you first enter.
What’s trending right now?
It’s the perfect time to revitalize your skin. Micro-needling is an excellent choice to boost collagen, improve texture, and enhance your glow— it’s ideal for jumpstarting your spring / summer skin care routine or simply wanting to take your skin care to the next level. Additionally, as spring is around the corner laser hair removal is trending, with many clients opting for sessions now to ensure hair free smoothness ready by summer, eliminating the need for shaving or waxing.
What do you love most about Kingston?
We love Kingston for its huge variety of shops, ranging from the Bentall Centre to the historic marketplace, and then the riverside. Plus, just a short distance from the town, there’s Richmond Park for some peaceful relaxation away from the busy streets.
What’s your favourite treatment that you offer?
Chi: I enjoy cutting. No two cuts are the same, I like the instant transformation of every client that sits on my chair.
Tracy: It has to be our bespoke facials, particularly when it comes to extractions! To see and feel the difference in the skin immediately fills me with such satisfaction! But micro-needling is also a close second as I love the results it gives.
As parents and business owners what inspires you each day?
As parents and business owners, our motivation comes from our family and community. Watching our children grow reminds us to lead by example, showing that hard work, passion, and kindness matter.
The connections we build with our clients inspire us, and hearing how our services boost their confidence is incredibly rewarding. This is what drives us to give the best care possible.
