Being a woman and an employer of women is something I am incredibly proud of.
Every day I see first-hand how much working women juggle careers, families, homes, responsibilities and ambitions yet somehow they continue to show up with professionalism, resilience and care. The balance isn’t always easy, but the determination is always there.
My team is made up of remarkable women (and a token man). We have working mums who expertly manage school runs alongside client meetings. We have proud “four-paw mums” whose commitment and nurturing nature extends well beyond the home. Each woman brings not only skill and dedication, but empathy, strength and emotional intelligence to the workplace qualities that are invaluable in our industry. Supporting and understanding each other really helps my team to work powerfully for our clients and create a happy working environment.
I am especially proud of our female clients. When I first started in property, landlords were predominantly men. That was simply the landscape at the time. Today, I am seeing more and more women confidently building property portfolios, making investment decisions, and taking control of their financial futures.
Neither men nor women make “better” landlords; professionalism, fairness and integrity are not defi ned by gender. But it is interesting, and encouraging, to witness the shift. It reflects broader progress: women stepping into spaces that historically may not have felt as accessible, and doing so with confidence and capability.
