If you’ve been lucky enough to snag a ticket to the tennis and fancy dining out afterwards, The Black Lamb in Wimbledon Village is presenting a special Wimbledon set menu for the duration of the tennis. Beginning with a limited-edition ‘Over the Net’ cocktail made with Hayman’s gin, lime juice, sugar syrup, Sussex honey syrup, mint and Sussex strawberries, the menu features Black Lamb classics such as the mushroom Marmite eclair, along with gorgeous confit trout, courgette flower and pork tenderloin. Then dig into a very special dessert: the Wombles of Wimbledon with Sussex strawberry and cream jelly. Each course can also be enjoyed with an optional wine pairing.

Orion in Wimbledon Village is serving up a very special menu over the Championships. The experience begins with a Devon crab salad featuring crème fraîche, pea, asparagus and wildflowers, paired with Lanson Le Black Réserve, whose freshness and complexity complement the delicate sweetness of the crab. For the main course, you can enjoy black cod served with broad beans, clams, white wine cream sauce, pickled shallots and onion oil, accompanied by Lanson Le Blanc de Blancs.  To finish, indulge in a playful dessert inspired by Wimbledon’s most recognisable symbol: a tennis ball chocolate dome served with whipped vanilla cream, Champagne jelly, poached English strawberries and gel, mint and meringue.

Beloved fish and chips spot The Mayfair Chippy is offering a limited-edition Strawberries & Cream Wimbledon pairing just in time for the tennis.
