Michelin Bib Gourmand Restaurants

The Michelin Guide 2026 was recently announced, bestowing stars on the best restaurants across the UK. What is lesser known is their Bib Gourmand accolade, which recognises high-quality food at great value.

Bib Gourmands are a great way to select more casual, intimate and affordable dining with excellent food. Here’s where to find them in South West London and Surrey…

Ssam Ssam

Wimbledon

Ssam Ssam, the much-loved Korean restaurant in Wimbledon, was just awarded a Bib Gourmand in the latest Michelin Guide. Nestled on Merton Road, it’s a great one to book up if you can get a table, and a local Wimbledon favourite. Wagyu steaks, Bibimbap, Kimchi Jigae… they do it all perfectly, and it’s definitely worth going to see what all the fuss is about. They’ll be plenty busy after the recent news, so book early if you can!
