Food

Eco

Clapham

Recently turned 30, Eco is a local Italian eatery on the High Street that has long become a neighbourhood favourite. The founder, Sami Wasif, was one of the first to bring sourdough pizza to the UK, and he still uses the same authentic recipe he brought over all those years ago. The pizzas, made with their own homegrown sourdough, are absolutely unparalleled, from an amazing chicken ‘nduja and chorizo pizza with roasted peppers, chillies, mozarella and fresh coriander, to a divine smoked aubergine and burrata pizza with baked garlic and basil pesto. This can all be enjoyed in a bustling and friendly atmosphere, with an open kitchen, so you can watch the expert chefs toss your pizza into the wood-fire oven.
