South Korean DJ Peggy Gou has been one of the leading figures in Dance music for a number of years but following the mainstream success of ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’, she has elevated her status to superstardom.

This was encapsulated through her biggest headlining show in London to date at the 39,000 capacity Gunnersbury Park – which was undoubtedly one of the most hotly-anticipated shows on the Electric Dance calendar.

There was an incredible vibe throughout the day as the sun was shining in West London and everyone from old and young flocked to Gunnersbury Park in their droves to soak up the atmosphere before Peggy Gou took to the stage.

Brazilian DJ MOCHAKK had warmed up the crowd and it was now time for the headline act that everyone had been waiting for. It was a B2B event so Gou arrived on stage five minutes before to set up and when she appeared on the big screen there was a huge roar from the crowd, producing a wide smile from the DJ.

There was a seamless transition as Gou instantly commanded control of the stage and was ready to take the party to the next level.

The set was an audio-visual feast for the senses with huge screens, incredible backup dancers and smoke cannons elevating the experience.

Gou remixed Central Cee and Lil Baby’s hit collaboration ‘BAND4BAND’ – a song which had taken the world by storm this summer.

The DJ shocked the crowd as she said, “London, do you want to know who I want to go BAND4BAND with? My favourite artist in the UK, Central Cee.”

The crowd went wild and the London rapper came onstage to perform the hit track – before joining Peggy near her booth when she remixed ‘Doja Cat.

The atmosphere went from strength to strength as everyone was having the time of their lives and dancing along to Dance music.

There were remixes of big Rap tracks like Roddy Rich’s ‘The Box’ but a particular fan-favourite was when she performed Charli XCX’s ‘Guess’ – which recently received a viral collaboration with Billie Eilish.

The highlight of the evening was when she performed ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ as there was a special burst of energy in the crowd as fans chanted along to the chorus at the top of their voices.

During her biggest London show to date, Peggy Gou made the huge stage her own and cemented her status as one of the world’s premier DJs – if there was ever any doubt.
