What’s New at Hyde Park?

What’s New at Hyde Park?

Discover, play, and shop at London’s most iconic green space

Often cited as the ‘lungs of London,’ The Royal Parks maintain eight beautiful parks and a garden cemetery, providing over 5,000 acres of green space for everyone to enjoy. With ever-growing awareness of the wellbeing benefits of getting out into nature, the vital work of The Royal Parks charity, which ensures these spaces continue to be available, is more important than ever.

Hyde Park sits at the very heart of London, with the beautiful Rose Garden and sweeping green fields perfect for picnicking or kicking a ball on. But did you know that there’s even more to discover in the park?

Fun in the sun!

Support The Royal Parks charity by simply having fun! Hire a pedalo and set sail on the water or dive right in for a swim at the Serpentine Lido. Grab a coffee or lunch at the Lido Café or the Serpentine Bar and Kitchen.

There’s also the opportunity to get involved with great events – from Discovery Days at the Hyde Park Learning Centre, to the inspiring ‘Hidden Stories’ walking tours. With activities to suit all generations, you’re guaranteed to learn something new.

Discover the Royal Parks Shop

Pop into the gorgeous shop, one of Hyde Park’s best kept secrets! Situated in the Boathouse, this is an amazing find with a brilliantly curated range of gifts, all sustainably sourced. There are fabulous retro prints of the parks, and lots of goodies reflecting the nature and wildlife that can be found in all the Royal Parks.

Discover seasonal collections for home and garden as well as year-round favourites all sourced by the team with sustainability front of mind.

Feel-Good Shopping

By shopping in this small, perfectly curated shop, you are contributing to the Royal Parks’ charity work, keeping nature flourishing for all to enjoy for free. More than that, you’re also helping support the small business and community enterprises they source many of their products from. A great example is the birdhouses they sell, each a unique piece made from recycled sari material which has been handmade by artisans in Bangladesh, helping to fund the survival of many women and their families from rural communities in poverty.

How to get there

Discover the shop for yourself in Hyde Park, on Serpentine Road in The Boathouse, alongside boating. It’s worth the journey!
