Wimbledon Quarter to host event for Merton carers
On Saturday, 14th September, Home Instead Wimbledon and Kingston will be hosting a free ‘Merton Carers Event’ at the newly transformed Wimbledon Quarter (formerly Centre Court Shopping Centre).
The event will feature a generous space with up to 40 stalls for browsing, alongside areas dedicated to talks and workshops. Activities will include:
- Bath bomb-making workshops
- Live music
- Arts and crafts
- Mindfulness sessions
- Free nail treatments
- Drinks and nibbles
- …and much more!
Additionally, there will be ‘advice surgeries’ offered by a variety of local businesses and services, including a travel agent specialising in accessibility holidays.
This event is designed to provide support, information, and advice, as well as to offer gifts, vouchers, freebies, discounts, and heartfelt appreciation to the paid and unpaid carers in Merton.
