The Mad Hatter's Show has raised in excess of £40,000 for The Children’s Trust. Some of the UK’s top milliners and fashion designers presented their latest collections to an audience of 200 guests at this year’s prestigious event.
Milliners included: Siggi, JoJo Hats, Rachel Trevor-Morgan, Gina Foster, Emily-London and Louis Mariette. Designers included: Tomasz Starzewski, Eavis & Brown, James Lakeland, Suzannah and Marion Thomas. A lively auction, which alone raised nearly £24,000, was conducted by guest Jeffery Archer. Zoe Savage, Head of Events at The Children’s Trust said: ‘Producer Jane Carlton put on a wonderful show. I would like to say a special thank you to the Show’s chairman, Kate Wake-Walker and the committee. Our thanks also to Jeffrey Archer, Tim Pethybridge, and Chas Cerveny who made a moving speech about the care he received at The Children’s Trust, following a skiing accident.’ Since it began in 2000, the annual Mad Hatters’ Show has raised over £500,000 for The Children’s Trust. Based at Tadworth Court, the Trust is a national charity, which provides care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, and rehabilitation services to children with an acquired brain injury.
